John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Care Review

John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Care Review

I’ve been using the John Frieda Frizz Ease serum for over a year but I recently picked up the John Frieda Frizz Ease Flawlessly Straight shampoo and conditioner and I am loving it so much I wanna share it with you all!

My hair has taken a beating this summer, between traveling, work and the scorching heat and humidity contrasted with blasting the AC, I was in much need of a savior. Enter the John Frieda Frizz-Ease collection. These drugstore products have quenched my thirsty tresses and given me back the confidence to go blow-dryer free. 🙂

I love this John Frieda Frizz-Ease Flawlessly Straight combo because it smells so yummy and the conditioner really works magic on my locks. The shampoo is pretty light, it definitely feels like it has a pretty nice cleaning power to it but doesn’t strip all of the natural oils from my scalp. I try to only lather my roots and massage my scalp really well, avoiding getting very much shampoo on the ends of my hair. Usually conditioner doesn’t do very much to help detangle my hair and keep it smooth once dry. Thankfully this Frizz-Ease formula not only makes my hair feel hydrated, it keeps it straight and silky all day once it’s dry! I also have noticed I use about half the amount of John Frieda Frizz-Ease Flawlessly Straight conditioner as I was using with my last conditioner, Tresemme. I have weaned my hair off of straighteners and I hardly use a blow-dryer, but when I do I try to only dry the top and the hair framing my face. But after using the John Frieda Flawlessly Straight products I’ve noticed my hair is much straighter all over, especially in the areas that would wave the most (the very middle of the back). My hair responds to the summer humidity with ease and keeps its shape without poofing. I’m adding this to my list of favorite long hair-friendly products!img_2225

The real difference comes when I use the shampoo and conditioner with the John Frieda Frizz-Ease Extra Strength 6 Effects serum afterwards. The (very) long name says it all! I have had this product for well over a year and I’m just now at the very last bit of it, but I will most certainly be getting more! My hair does a 180 after I apply a small pump of the clear, thick, molasses-type serum to the ends of my hair, making sure to distribute every last drop to the damage-prone tips. It also has a nice fragrance to it that keeps my mane smelling luxurious well after a shower. The Extra-Strength part is no lie, a little goes a long way with this bad boy. If you have severely dry hair, please give this product a try. I use a lot of products and some might label me a hair product hoarder, but none has been closer to me than the John Frieda Frizz Ease Extra-Strength 6 Effects. I haven’t tried the other serums from this line but if they are half as good as this, I will buy them all!

In short:
  • I recommend the John Frieda Frizz-Ease hair care to anyone with long, thick hair or anyone in the process of growing their hair out.
  • The power of this system will give you results pretty quickly, I suggest going easy on any additional hair products to avoid weighing your hair down.
  • The John Frieda Frizz-Ease Extra Strength 6 Effects serum is good for women with curly hair, and anyone with treated hair or those who love their heat styling tools!
